The "Bula Marathon" will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008. The race will start at the Hubbard House Museum at 8:00 a. m. The race will be run down Lake Ave. to Bridge St., across the Harbor Lift Bridge to East 6th Street. The runners will then proceed down Columbus Ave. then make a right on East 23rd. Street. The runners will then make a left on Harbor Ave. and then a quick right on to East 24th. Street. The runners will then proceed down to Lake Ave. where they will make a left. The runners will then proceed down Lake Ave. until it dead ends onto Main Ave. where they will make a right onto Main Ave.
From Main Ave., the runners will make a left onto West 44th Street. The runners will then make a right onto Collins Blvd. The runners will then make a left onto the West 46th Street Bridge. At the end of East 46th Street., they will make a left onto State Road where they will then run to Rt. 20 and make a left. They will then run across the new viaduct (on the sidewalks) to a left onto Park Ave. The race will end at North Park.

There will be age categories in male and female divisions. A water break will be stationed in front of the hospital and at North Park on Main Ave. near the bus stop.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded this year in male and female divisions. Cash prizes may be awarded for first, second and third place finishers with at least twenty-five runners.
