Custom Insoles

                        Achilles Running Shop is now making custom insoles under the supervision of Dr. Mark Mendeszoon (podiatrist) who understands the importance of                             
        healthy  walking, running and living.  Just call for an in store appointment 440-255-7861.

                        Custom insoles are created by evaluating an individual's body type, biomechanics, structural alignment, running shoes and person's goals.

                        Foot impressions are then created via foam impressions, plaster castings or possibly computer scanning.

                        An order form is then created for the individual's foot type and then sent with the impressions to an orthotic laboratory where the insoles will be created.

                        Turn around time is approximately 15-20 days.  Instructions and the devices will be dispensed and a break in period of 10-15 days will be necessary 
            before the devices can be worn all day.

                        Custom Insoles may last for 1-5 years depending on individual usage and care.

                        Orthotics may have to be refurbished periodically.

                        Not everyone may be a candidate for custom insoles at the store and may need to be seen in a specialist's medical office if there are advanced conditions.

                        The cost for custom insoles is $280.  Non Refundable.

                        $140 deposit at impression time

                        $140 remainder paid before or at time of custom insole pick up.

                        Refurbishing custom insole costs is $45.

                        All custom insoles are payable by cash, check or credit card.
